Hard water is water that has a very high dissolved mineral content of calcium and magnesium ions. Hard water can be a nuisance causing film or spots on glass shower doors, shower walls, bathtubs, sinks, faucets, etc. Here are some simple to tips to remove hard water spots.

Supplies
- Dish Soap
- White Vinegar
- Paper Towels
- Cleaning Cloths
- Toothbrush
- Baby Oil
On a paper towel place a dime size amount of dish soap and dilute with water. Work up a lather on your sink and faucet. Let it sit for about 5 minutes. Don't forget behind the faucet and by the drain.
Use a toothbrush to scrub the hard to reach places of your faucet, rim of the sink, and the drain. If you need a little more scrubbing power, use a soft sponge in a circular motion on the sink basin. Rinse your sink and faucet clean and dry.
Take another couple clean paper towels and dip them in white vinegar. Wrap the white vinegar paper towels around the faucet. Leave it wrapped for 10 minutes. Tip:use a good amount of vinegar to wet the paper towel
Wipe your sink and faucet down with the white vinegar paper towels and discard afterwards.
Place 2 - 3 drops of baby oil on one corner of the cleaning cloth. Use the cleaning cloth to buff the oil onto your sink and faucet. The baby oil will help shine your sink and also provide a barrier against hard water minerals. Tip: do not use more than a few drops of baby oil
