Fall is a time of the year that is filled with great smells, whether the from pumpkin pie or simply the outdoors. There is just something soothing about the smell of fall that relaxes the mind.
If you want to recreate the scent of fall in your home don't use harsh chemical sprays, try some more natural ways to capture this seasonal smell. There are a few ways to go about this including, candles, homemade potpourri, simmer pots, natural scents, and baking some tasty fall treats.

Homemade Potpourri- Potpourri is very easy to make and surprisingly effective at creating an enjoyable for any season. To start gather a few of your favorite fruit and fall spices (cinnamon sticks, apples, oranges and cloves are common). Slice your fruit nice and thin and then bake in the oven neatly on a cookie sheet at 250 degrees to dry them out. Once they are dry mix the fruit together with your chosen spices and let sit for a day to marinate. Once done set the mix out on display and let it do its work. If you want an added kick add essential oils to your mix.
